Wow, it's been literally years. I couldn't remember my password!

Sooooo much has happened, omigosh. I'm not even going to get into it. I'm going to just pick up in medias res. Even now I'm on the precipice of yet another life change: moving into a new studio apartment (in Brooklyn). It goes down this Saturday and I could not be more ready to get out of my current situation with my roommate. The tension is palpable; it's like holding a tiger by the tail. Oof. Fortunately I have my parents and a few able bodied friends enlisted to help me this weekend, so things are looking pretty good for the move. Just have to last the week...
